Can you understand someone liking lasagne but hating spaghetti bolongnese?

I know it sounds absurd, cause they're basically the same thing. I mean how would she feel if I cooked up bolongnese mince and served it with a pasta sheet on top?

Yeah, I understand this even if I love both LOL. They're different dishes by the way, the texture of the pasta is different, lasagne have the besciamelle sauce (the main different) and also something cooked in the oven has a different density and even taste than something cooked in boiling water.
Also if you do the lasagne today and you eat them tomorrow the taste will change again, it's better, more homogeneous, like many things cooked with the oven and eaten many hours after.

I would just be happy someone cooked for me. 🤷

Well...i like spaghetti but am not really a fan of lasagna. I don't hate it though, meaning i'll eat it...eat everything but the ricotta cheese

I don't understand that, but would understand it the other way around as some people hate the white sauce in lasagne

That's literally me though. I hate tomato, hate spaghetti bolognese, but love lasagne and tomato sauce. Hate tomato soup too.
