Do you think the cargo ship stuck in the Suez Canal was done purposely to raise gas prices?

Just read that the ship grounding is having an impact on instant coffee prices in the US. From what I hear there was a pretty bad storm with awful visibility and very strong winds. There isn't a lot of room to maneuver in that canal. My guess is human error caused the problem....and people taking advantage of it will compound the situation.
@bowman81 Ain't we got fun?

@bowman81 Yep. Shortages of a lot of things because of delayed shipping and that always means higher prices.
@bowman81 The wind stopped yesterday.

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether Yeah, and that sucker is wedged sideways tight as a drum. Not sure what direction the current runs, but with ships stacked up behind and in front of her they will have a hell of a time getting tugs in there to push/pull her out. It will be interesting to see how they free her.

@bowman81 I think they are hoping that expected higher tides early next week will help.
@bowman81 Yea it's really stuck. Funny thing is I live here and I only heard about this from SW lol they say the current will rise next week.
