Have you ever had the perfect step mom in your life?

I am mom. But I feel as if my ex married the perfect wife who is now the perfect step mom. She’s crafty, entrepreneurial, full of energy.this truly is the ONLY woman who has ever made me feel insecure and sick to my stomach as they plan to persuade her to move in with them. I know because of the comments I over hear, and the frequency in which they call her. And the bribes.

Kids don’t need perfection in fact that can lead to issues too. Someone’s strength doesn’t take away from your own. Be grateful the other person influencing them isn’t a terrible example & then show up as mom, as you. Don’t worry about comparing yourself. We are all so different for a purpose so we can lean on one another & work as a team. You are enough.

I never had a step mom but I was in a relationship with a man for about a year, that had kids and it was fun to be the girlfriend that did all the fun stuff and gave them advice and fixed all their favorite stuff, they thought I was so cool because, I wasn't the everyday mom. So, I guess what I'm saying, is she is probably more insecure than you know.
