Look into the transfer degree programs. Most public universities (in America) have agreements with community colleges to guarantee junior status upon admission. Keeps you on course.

To start off in a "high paying" job you will have to do internships alongside studies to get experience, or else they will nickel and dime you for a few years regardless of what degree.

I am in the same situation. I went to Art School 4 years ago after school. Now I am in my final year and there are so many ways ahead, Masters, job, set up my own business. I wanted to do everything about Art but the system narrowed me down. I do Multidisciplinary but it still means just two disciplines. Fine Art and Ceramics/Jewellery.
