Sure you can. Even if you go out of shopping town, there is still a chance of crossing paths with someone you know, or who knows your family, or who recognizes you from back home.
If you don't already know your sizes, visit the VS website and select the bras, panties or lingerie you would like. The 'Size and Fit' charts will show you how to measure yourself, and tell you what Angel size you are. Make a shopping list with the styles and sizes, then go find a few things for your 'girlfriend'. Unless you are inclined to reveal that the 'girlfriend' is your other self, there is no need to say any more. Either way, the staff at VS will be happy to help you.

I know what you're feeling. But like all the others here have said, just walk in proud and nonchalant about it. You'd be surprised how little anyone cares! I went to a Soma store once, and the salesgirl asked me if I needed help. I said I wasn't sure what size I needed. And she said, "Well, if you want to try something on, just let me know." I couldn't believe it! So I took her up on it and just let myself enjoy it. She was great and I spent some money in her store, without freaking out myself or anyone else.

The first 5 feet is the hardest, after that it's easy. The staff is trained to help men as well, your money is green just like everybody else and they are interested in making a sale. If a sale person askes if need help just tell you interested in looking at ____ panties or want to be fitted for a bra. Once you have bought you first thing it's must easier.

Wait until mid-September. Right now they are busy with "back-to-school" shopping. So wait for that to die down in your area. Then go earlier in the day, before noon is better.

Just walk in, make sure your head is up high and looking around. My first bra and panty I ever purchased by myself was at a Victoria's Secret.

I understand! But so what if someone knows! I've found later in life people respect you more for being courageous and being yourself. And later in life when you have that courage you'll wish you had it back then. I regret not doing a lot of things when I was young that I do easily now.

just walk in like you own the place...once a sales girl asks you if you need anything..the presser is off..go for it:)
