justmerae did something I find interesting on her personal whiteboard. She added how she's feeling. I love that idea. I'm going to add it to mine, along with the local weather and maybe a quote of the day and a song of the day.
Those things can actually be changed each day because we have the ability to edit our main post.

@jackson55: Yes, that's true, but while they are here, we can make a place where we can just visit. It's true, it will show up on the main feed, but it is still, as a featured story, not something that will need to be searched for. It will always be there. And if others create one of their own, we are creating the site to be a little more like what we want it to be.

And if no one does it, then perhaps they should just accept the status quo and stop complaining.

@jackson55: no you don't, but many do complain. And no it will never be EP, but it can be a nicer place to socialize [i][b][i]IF[/i][/b][/i] we choose to work at it.

I know I'm a dreamer, but if people don't dream, nothing gets done.

@Serenitree we sure can. and, frankly, I like SW better. I never said too much, on EP, cause people didn't seem to have much appreciation for difference... I think there is a lot less intolerance for the individual here.

@Serenitree it is we who made EP.. and it is we who are making SW. SW was all the tailenders of EP initially. But what happened to the EP heartlanders ?

SW cam be EP if we decide use it .. instead of abusing it for which EP got shutdown.

@in10RjFox Exactly. So many members complain about the abuse, yet, it's the members who are abusing both the other members and the site in general. If you recall, when SW first started, many people were predicting, with glee, that it wouldn't last. I've no idea why the ones who missed EP so much, when it crashed, didn't stick around to work on building a new, and better house to live in, instead of standing on the sidewalk jeering at the ones who were trying to make this a new home.

@Serenitree unlike FB, EP connected us to strange new people .. we just don't want to be around with known people who only end up gossiping.. EP was good place to showcase our creative side with anonymity which FB never allowed. So I had many come up to me and talk. But when the jerks started misbehaving and harassing, is when things started to takea turn, making many aggravated and irritable. So the good and genuine started to take the beating too. And that's what SW suffered as they had to start it with jerks.

But I still don't understand is why they hang around if they dislike and become spoilers ..
