I Wish All Friends Were Forever Friends

This is my own personal whiteboard. Pull up a chair, grab a coffee and visit a while. Invite a friend if you like.

justmerae did something I find interesting on her personal whiteboard. She added how she's feeling. I love that idea. I'm going to add it to mine, along with the local weather and maybe a quote of the day and a song of the day.
Those things can actually be changed each day because we have the ability to edit our main post.

And a picture of the day. vvvvvvvvv Right here.

[image deleted]My daughter created this on some digital art program. I don't remember the name of it.

people who take things that belong to other people... specially people who were kind to em... do worse than just take our things... they take our trust... and de-value our spirit.
En avant! Dans la mêlée!... sister Weeble :)
BTW... what is your favorite jam?

@bethsmiles: I'm a simple kind of person. I like the berry jams most. Grape jelly.

The reason I like the cottage industries is because I feel I'm helping someone to be self supporting. But you know, several years back, I found out from a neighbour, that you can't even be sure that you're getting genuinely home made products. This neighbour was buying huge, commercial sized jars and cans of jams and pie fillings. Boiling them down a bit and rebottling the jams into tiny jars with her own labels, and selling them at a local flea market. Pie fillings, were put into mason jars and sold as homemade. Her smiling face was on every label. I imaging she's making a good buck now, as she could be selling them online. There's a much larger customer base online.
@Serenitree: ok.. so I've never tried to write this down, but maybe the huge, initial divide between people who respect other people - and people who do not respect other people - is the ability to rationally preview (or review) their actions with cognitive thought.

[b][big]YES[/big][/b] Exactly.

To see the way they themselves will be perceived when others discover their deceptions. It's what I say about all kinds of cheating. You may profit from it in the short run, but in the long run, deep inside, you know it's cheating and cheating makes you a loser.

Some people don't have that ability, that insight, to know that what they're doing is showing a lack of character and decency. They lack the inner strength to do it honestly. I think that says they have no faith in themselves.

And sadly, no matter how much money they make, the inner core will always be a loser.

I'd rather be a low income winner than a rich loser.
@Serenitree: of I could... I'd give this a hundred hearts!... you said that perfectly!
❤️ * 100 :)
