How do you react when someone hurts you badly?

I just have an overwhelming urge to hurt them back. It’s a terrible part of me and one that I try to fight every time but it doesn’t always work out.

Most of the time, I tend to walk away.

I never hurt a person back. However, when they won't learn the fact that I'm being nice by walking away then I'll show how pain can feel like.
