Was there a definitive rejection at the end? What did the interviewer say? If you have an email or address I would write a letter or even just copy your post here and sent to the interviewer.
Nothing to loose and it can't hurt letting them know how impressed you are with their company and how much your disappointed in your performance.

But it's an experience. And every experience counts. It's not a waste.

Just think about it: every person that now *hates* their job with a passion, once had a job interview that impressed and were so happy that they got offered that job...

You don't know if that would have been a job from hell. I'm sure bad things happen for a good reason.

It is just one interview. I always bomb the first interview. It's gotten to the point where I will interview for a job I really do not want, just to get the first one over with.

Don't get discouraged. You will knock it out of the park next time.

it's like riding a bike, dust yourself off and get back on! Interviewing is a skill like another and the experience will prepare you for the next one! Stay positive!

I've had a few of those in the past. You'll do better next time. And you'll land that job that is meant for you.😔🤗🤗🤗

We've all had bad interviews. It will likely get easier if you have more and this one doesn't work out.

Over-preparing is sometimes worse than not preparing at all.
