I Don't Want to Go Back to School

Well not just yet . . as I still have one and a half weeks of holiday left 🐻

But the shops have been advertising clothes and equipment for the new year from the moment we broke up for summer 😟

I went to town with my mum yesterday, to make up for me not spending much time with her this holiday. She automatically went into back-to-school mode and bought me clothes, even though she knows I look after my own budget for school uniform.

Now I own 15 pairs of white knickers, in addition to the 15 pairs she bought me last year 🙄 In theory I can go for a whole month before I need to use the laundry 🐻

I may not be remembering correctly, but I'm pretty sure I saw adverts for back-to-school clothing before the summer break had even begun.

Once you're all back in school they'll be starting to get the Halloween and Christmas stuff out and advertised.

I used to hate that, can't they let people enjoy their holidays without reminding them school will start again before they know it? 🐻
I suppose it's good that she's happy to save you a bit of money, and free clothes are always good, but then again white knickers urgh 😒 was that all she was willing to get?

@TammieBear is that legal, how could they possibly check your underwear colour? Remember a teacher in my school once said she wish she could have a rule about that but it would be unenforceable

@ScottishLulu When my sisters were at school they had to wear fleecy navy knickers as part of their uniform. Be thankful for some advances over the last 60 years lol
