I Want to Know What You See With Your Eyes Closed
This reminds me of a story.
I call it the Pork Chop Story.
This happened to me a few months ago and they had their eyes open.
I had to run to the courthouse to drop off some legal documents. As I walked in, they had to metal detector walkways. I had to choose one. It was sunny out so I was wearing a body hugging summer dress with some heels, hair was down and windblown I am sure as well as my sunglasses. I walked in, took my sunglasses off and adjusted to the room. When I looked in the direction I needed to go to, there stood about 5 men all staring at me. Then all of a sudden as I started to move toward the metal detector walkway, two men started saying: "Come to mine" the other guy said "no come through mine" I stop and look at them both. Now I am a tad overwhelmed. I look at them both and they are both persistent calling at me.
I finally decided to just go to the first one and I took my items that needed to go through the belt and put them on it. The guy is now smiling and rubbing it in to the other man that i went through his walkway. Not a problem right? Of course not, the other man came over to with the other guy. Now they are both asking me questions and joking around with me.
I walk through and they are both still at it. I joke back and I am rushing it. They did not realize how uncomfortable they have made me. They ask random questions, do I go there often, oh yes, one said I have seen you before, always come through his, and it went on and on. The other men were egging both of them on.
I finally am ready to head to the office I need. I had to go up a few stairs and then now there is complete silence as I start walking up the stairs and going to the hall I need. I felt eyes on my backside the whole way.
I did what i needed and was ready to face them again. I did not have to go through the metal detector so I went around a little and walked out very quietly to the other side of where they were. One hollered at me. Come back!
I left there so unsettled. I made a phone call to someone and busted out crying. I felt like a pork chop in a room of wolves that were starving to death.
I do not think men realize that their bodies change, their breathing, their eyes, and if there are other men, more so. It's like a hunt...... and I was the huntee.
