Succulents are so interesting . All those xeric adaptations ! Do you vacation in arid climates to see the cacti ?

@TexChik I got just one part off a cactus of a friend 10 years ago in Indiana. I have had it inside the whole time. I water it once every two weeks. The top part came on about 4 years ago. The base of this cactus is wild and thick.

@Echoing there are some nasty ones out here. The cow crippler... which you hate to step on ... and the “ dog Turd cactus “ that you just can’t get off of you ! Lots of Opuntia ( prickly pear ) as well

@TexChik oh... I see Texas gal...🤔 no..I have never been to the desert nor around growing cactus out and about. That is on my bucket list too.
