People are out of control. The real leaders who are capable of changing the masses have been long already internalizing the world, they'd rather not bother. It goes against the nature they created for themselves.

The brightest, most capable people would never enter the highly toxic political arena so we’re left with a bunch of ego driven morons who lost touch with the needs of real people a long time ago. And their only goal is to spew poison about their opponents to divide and conquer so that fact is forgotten and they can remain in power.

Well, I would be a good leader, but to become elected in the first place... The shit people want to hear... I can't do that. I'm too fucking honest and when I tell people they are pretty stupid to believe in the made-up stuff that our politicians keep repeating, no matter what nationality... I get a lot of crap poured on me.
