I Love My Profession

I Can Only Say Please Trust Your Doctors, They Are Human Too... i am in india these days , and i went to meet an old friend of mine in a prestigious hospital run by govt the govt. At the entrance i saw people mourning over death of their relative, that was an accident case, i felt bad too but what made me sad that they were blaming doctors for not providing emergency medical treatment.

I request you people that we always try our best , but please remember that we are not god we are human too and understand your emotions and respect them. So please try to think

U r rite. Bt all r nt same. I myself have experienced that one frnd of mine had been admitted in hospital after accident and he died bt doctors of the hospital told us after two daysof his death. They even dint let us enter the room where he had been kept lest the matter shdnt be opened. Wt will u say such so called doctors?

well as to say abt the case i really dont know the case no. and its statistics as i was very young at that time and the case is flied on my elder sisters name..
i m from mumbai india . and where r u from n as wht in legal profession .... but if u want i can take out the details... but it will take time dear ....!

OK. I m in Haryana. I think there is some communication gap btwn ur counsel, if any and ur elder sis bcause normally such cases dont tk so long time. I think u shd contact ur counsel and get the latest update of ur case.

I am sorry that this happened. It is too bad that these people were taking out their frustrations on the doctors that were trying to help. You do an incredibly difficult job and we do appreciate that you do the best you can. -I think that when people or their loved ones are hurt they react very poorly and don't think about what they are saying or doing, the just react. I am in a profession where I do the best I can but can't make everything perfect because there is so much out of my control. I too wish people would think before being so disrespectful. Please try not to take their words to heart, do the best you can and know that we truly do appreciate you and that you are doing your best.

I do understand what it feels for unnecessarily getting blamed on profession. But I would neither blame the professionals nor people but yeah to insufficient conveniences provided to govt. hospitals. As the only hope to poor people are the govt hospital's. And due to unreachable technologies to govt hospital these things happens like what you posted.
But as you know India is still a developing country, along with technology and country, self awareness in Indians are still lacking and lagging far behind compared to other countries. Changing this mentality over a mass will take a long time in India.

I have seen that happening. I really the admire the work of those tireless doctors, especially in Govt. hospitals. People do blame doctors at times. They can't see God and the closest person with the power to save their dear ones are the doctors. sometimes they lose control. Pity after all work doctors has to put up with this. They endure this daily. Hats of for you. :)

really we should respect doctors for their efforts to save a life... but what due to some black sheeps of doctor professionals...the true doctors are also blamed.... there are some instances your some so called doctors basically want to make money even by keeping a dead body for some days and telling family members of patients that patient is in critical condition... we are trying our best

I have seen quite a number of doctors who are business minded, but yes of course, many who are giving more than we can expect. But the bottom line is there is no much room for error, being responsible for other people's life. I wish all doctors are the way you are.

But when things happens suddenly, no one has the senses and things turn out bad.

Like not all Politicans are good same goes for Doctor, not all are bad....
Some just enjy the profession and disrespect the ethics of it.

Yeah....right..doctors are not saint..but i hate those doctors who do experiment on patient..i had 8 experiment when i was kid and failed..... ...plz say straight 'no' to patients ..don't say this 'we will' try if u r not 100% sure about results.i am not saying that u r not a good doctor......good luck for ur future

yes ! doctors are really gifts of god.Otherwise without the love for that job, who else will go for this profession.I have seen doctors working 16 to 18 hrs working continuously just because they love to serve.

I guess you are not based in india. We do have very good and committed doctors here. Most are good...but as in every profession there are blacksheeps among doctors too.

Agree. People react out of sadness n frustration sometimes. Overwhelmed by grief. We have to understand their loss too.
