I Lack Confidence

When this many people from different places and know you in different capacities, tell you the same thing, that you lack confidence, it might be wise to listen as there's probably some truth to it. Knowing I lack confidence is the easy part, gaining said confidence not so much.

You might try to determine where your lack of confidence comes from. You may have been told negative things at some vulnerable points; you may be trying to succeed in the wrong areas of life; or you may be comparing yourself to others in looks or abilities. All of this is based on lies. The truth is that you are unique young lady and that you are beautiful because of that and nothing else. Nobody else has the combination of talents, personality and potential that you have. Focus on the things that are true. Anyone can put on a mask and for a period of time appear to be superior, but at the core, we all have this struggle with who we are and what our purpose is.. seek that purpose and know that you are the one who can fulfill it.. I don't know you, but I am convinced you can add so much to your world. The fact that you would post this story, tells me that you are wise enough to seek that truth. Good luck.. :)

@lovingdead I like school, I like to read and then do the things I've read about. Succeeding gives me the little confidence I get but apparently to succeed you have to be confident. I get lost and discouraged in the confusion.
