Alas, some religious people hate others in the name of their faith, and believe themselves pious for doing so.
In my country we (hopefully) just got rid of a leader who was actively encouraging divisiveness and hatred based upon race, religion, nationality and political party. It will take time to recover from the fear and distrust he stoked...if it ever happens. 🙁
