How do you feel about Citrine?

[c=#004A59]I love Citrine, even though it's baked Amethyst. It's aesthetically pleasing to touch, feel, and marvel at. I wouldn't use it in my spiritual practice though. How about you guys?[/c]

almost all citrine on the market is fake now. I have an old citrine necklace and earrings from Afghanistan.
A few years ago I bought a candle holder at a fairly famous stone shop. It was sold as citrine but became darker and darker and was just baked amethyst

I am personally not overly impressed, amethyst is prettier. I have very mixed feelings about amethyst but I prefer it to citrine to look at

Why wouldn't you use it in your spiritual practice? 🤔

@Vivaci [c=#004A59]I personally like to only work with all natural crystals and gems. I do have a plethora of stones in my collection that have been altered or is man-made for instance: Opalite, Bismuth, Aqua Obsidian, Goldstone, Aura Quartz etc.[/c]

I love all gems and minerals. I'm a major rockhound

Why not? It’s powerful

I had a necklace made for me once, with semi-precious stones. Citrine was not included. I did love amber, though, and the pendant for the necklace was amber with an insect trapped inside.

Looks like popcorn that didn't pop
