I Think Age Is Only A Number

It's fine if you are dating, but think seriously about marrying a man 20 years older than yourself. You are likely to be a widow for a very long time. Plus, before he dies, you will probably be his caregiver for a number of years. Aside from all that, as he ages, his energy level will decrease and he likely will not want to be as active in the community or in bed. That means that you will sit at home and be bored for years. Medications effect sex drive/performance, so you will probably be neglected in bed too. Just saying...

There should be no set rules, and people should be open to what comes their way. Of course, easy for me to say, but I felt the same way when I was younger and dating older women. Each potential; lover should be evaluated on his/her own merits, not the "number".

Perhaps people should live in communes/clans without marriage. Then you can be with anyone. If there are kids they would be everyone's responsibility. I guess that's how it used to be.

A girl in her 20s and a man in his 40s that's fine
But role on the clock 20 years for the pair
Then you have an elderly man and a young woman

And, younger? There can be issues with both, of course.
