I Am a Bookworm

Whether I'm studying a textbook or simply reading a story for pleasure, my greatest hobby is to have my face buried in a book. 😸 Even when I was a child, I would love to read books! When all the other kids would be outside playing or doing some other activity indoors, I always preferred to find a quiet place to read. When I entered middle school, I began developing an interest not only in reading but learning as well. I would find articles, documents, etc. to read up on whatever random topics that interested me and learn all about it. It didn't matter if something totally irrelevant that no one else would care about. It it intrigued me, I had to learn everything about it! 😻 Most other kids my age thought I was a real geek for being so interested in books but I never cared. I'm a proud bookworm, always have been and always will be. 😼

I was like that and still am👍🏻 I've had to tone down buying them because I am running out of room!

Oh goodess! 🙀 I only buy books if I really enjoy them. Otherwise, I just check them out from the library.

I used to use our library regularly but the selection is beginning to thin out. E books are good but I so love turning a page 📚

Cook. Me too. Now moreso than ever. As a child I read a lot, not so much in my mid to late teens. Now there is so much info widely available.
