Hi, when younger at home, across the lap, slightly older, a cross the arm of sofa, but yes generally told to turn round bend over touch toes, mostly slipper rubber soled and leather soled, but did get the strap, and Cane as well

@Naughtyboyneeds Similar to me at home with my Dad's rubber soled carpet slipper across his lap.

@MAJFF I usually got a plimsoll at home, same as at school.

Yep, scolded stood at the side,then pulled across Mum or Dads lap slipper resting on my bottom, I am going to tan your backside my boy, sometimes after my bottom was on fire, took to face the wall, sometimes sent straight to bed, as you can see I can still bend over and touch my toes Ouch

@Naughtyboyneeds Yes I had to do the same at school for the plimsoll. Mind you touching toes was never something I did. At home I was taken up to my bedroom or had to wait for Dad to come home, was he going to smack or not. It was similar end to the comic characters in the Beano and Dandy and the Topper I used to read.

Yes I have had a plimsoll used across my bottom, they sting just like a slipper, either will make your bottom red-hot and burning

@Naughtyboyneeds The plimsoll at school hurt more than the slipper at home. I think having more swing was the difference for me, and the whacks were across alternate, at home the same spot across the middle.

I know that feeling as well, Mum use to send me to my room, Just wait till your Father gets home young Man,the wait was just as bad as the punishment, as you sit there butterflies in your tummy not knowing what was going to happen, but yes most of thee time put across Dads lap Slipper, as you said just like in the beano comics etc

@Naughtyboyneeds It was funny to read and see in the Comics, but in reality being held flat on your stomach across his lap and not able to touch the floor with, getting slapped with a slipper was not funny.

@Naughtyboyneeds yes....you just have to bend over and then what seems like hours before the first stroke goes across your bottom. That wait is worse still if you have taken your trousers and pants off and its your bare bottom sticking out at the mercy of the cane . The only thing was it was never shown mercy and the cane went very firmly across those bare cheeks

Yes one bottom cheek at a time, 3/4 on one cheek, then the same on the other cheek
then across the middle, would continue till my bottom was truly tanned, including sit spots and upper thighs

@chikki I never experienced it bare, nor do I ever want to. I have a lot of sympathy for the many that had to endure it.

Sometimes it was Mum or Dad would take my trousers, shorts down and my pants, sometimes just across my trousers. Worst was being sent to get my pjs on and come back downstairs, bent over, to touch toes or a cross arm of sofa slipper across my pj bottoms then sent to bed with a tanned backside

Sometimes not all the time, other times there and then no matter who was there or present, Neighbour, Aunts Uncles cousins Mums friends, when that happened took to stand to face the wall hands on head

Yes being taken away or marched to another room or dragged by the arm with smacked legs, or to your bedroom
