Whenever homework was due in, there would usually be at least half a dozen of us lined up for the slipper for not having it done.

Ah, the good old days. I remember waiting to get slippered, with that sick feeling at the pit of my stomach, trying to adjust my knickers so they covered as much of the target area as possible, wishing I was anywhere but where I was.

@JoBlak yes...and they could ride up so the slipper actually went on bare flesh and was almost the same as being slippered on the bare bottom

@JoBlak Yes - some liked the cheerful act of pulling up the waistband to expose as much of the target area possible. Not all, but some.

@JoBlak A wriggling bottom is a challenge. The knack is to hit the target , not too high and not too low, but with enough force to sting.
