I go with the theory that Caillou has cancer. Which is why he's bald and his parents indulge him so much. It's the only way I can watch it when my niece is over.

I miss the sound of the childrens shows. My last finally outgrew them. Turned out there was a comfort to that annoying tinkling music and terminal perkiness. In the meantime it's a little bit better from another room while you're doing dishes or folding laundry or something. lol

Next generation will be fine. Not gonna be worse than my generation anyway.

Mine usually watched videos on YouTube. So now he speaks different languages that I don't understand, and he knows the atomic numbers of at least all the alkaline earth metals. I feel like an idiot
