I Believe If You Want A Friend You Need To Be A Friend

I’m 100% sure I’m a good friend. However, correct me if I’m wrong but when it’s your best friends birthday do you ask them to celebrate it a different day, and then go on to say that you won’t get your gift for a month? I need new friends, or my expectations are just too high.

Maybe they are poor and won’t have any money until that day? The best gift is being thought of and remembered regardless of anything material.
