I Am Sick Of Having Prove Myself To Other People

This isn't the first time I have got someone ask me this and I am sure this won't be the last time either. And no, I am not going to entertain the request simply because I don't owe a validation to some random stranger on the internet.

But being on EP or SW or any other social network - I get to my right to privacy and my choice on what I choose to share and just because you fancy it, I am not going to prove myself to everyone over and over and nor do I feel right doing the SW validation test.

It may seem simple and right to you that its only fair for everyone but it does not to me - if you don't believe me, then don't - go ahead and block me, I couldn't care less but I am not going to bend to what you want just because you feel you've earned that right to some sense of entitlement.

Well said. If you can't take someone at their word then in my mind everyone should move along.

@ToyMan What about this. I take people at their word. But I've come across some that will tell you a whole believable lie-life until they over exaggerate on one or two details. It's at that point I start to question everything they tell me. Eventually, you start to question the credibility of everything online.
It is a downward spiral at that point. If one lets that thought continually run through one's mind, nothing would ever be able to prove evidence of someone's validity. At some point, you have to strike a balance and accept at least some level of what people (or bots) are saying what's true.

@froggtongue Well I'm not saying you can't question. There is nothing on SW that is so serious that it effects my personal real life. So I assume people are truthful. If they're not it usually comes out pretty quickly. To be honest, to me it's much harder to keep up lies as you have to remember what you said.
