Why Is Being Gay Considered “Amoral”? [I Am LGBT Friendly]

I could never grasp why being gay is considered an “amoral” act. Nor why people are homophobic in the first place. If God exists, and if God supposedly considers homosexuality a sin, then why is homosexuality so common not just in human beings but also in other animals? If it’s so allegedly unnatural, then why is it in our nature at all?

I disagree with some of the question.

Doesn't the bible suggest sinning is natural? And that's why humans' can't but help them but sin... which is why we need to repeat? And forgive ourself and each other for the sins, as we dessicate our life's to God to both improve ourselves and the world, though God's word?

Just because God doesn't like sin, does not mean sin doesn't happen all of the freaking time, including by those that claim to follow God's word (the best they can, even those some are fakes and not really even trying).

So something can be natural and common, and not be part of God's wishes according to the Bible.

Also, got to remember, human wrote the bible too... and humans' have errors.

And I believe some have suggested (and I have no idea the truth of this), that throughout certain parts in times leaders and/or religion have been really pro-baby-making, as they want more people to build up their communities, and build up their Armies (especially after losing parts of their Armies or being attacked).

And because hetro-sexual acts create babies, while homo-sexual sexual act do not... and the more homo-sexual act there are, the less sexual frustration there is, and probably less hetro-sex there is'... so if one to maximum the baby making, limit the homo-sexual acts, to potentially maximum the hetro sexual acts and babies.

I bring this up, because I've heard rumors that some of Europe's war increased the hatred against homosexual act, as they wanted/needed to rebuild the Armys up.

@Viper the fallicy in the population argument assumed that gay males will switch to a heterosexual lifestyle which I strongly doubt.

@Tastyfrzz I think that comes from the general idea that if you confess your sins, and give your life to God, and try really hard, you'll be saved and forgiven of all your sin.

Though, forgive, and removal of temptation or desire are very very different things.
