I'm Just Saying

What a farce, BREXIT Brexit Brexit. We are in a right pickle with the two main parties losing out in the EU Elections. Where do we go from here if no one party can take us forward.
Farage looms big as Boris fades with the conservatives, good God cant we get things right, instead of leaving ourselves open to collapse.

Trouble is, there are 27 other countries who desperately don't want us to leave. They were never going to o make it easy or smooth. Plus, there are too many politicians of all parties in this country who see it as an opportunity for political advantage and self-advancement instead of what's best for our wonderful country. Treasonous bastards.
Anyone can say, from the safety of their own little offices, that.... 'i would have done it better', but the truth is, and I'm looking at you My Corbyn, you simply wouldn't and simply couldn't. You would have sold our country and our ideals to the highest bidder and made everything far, far worse because you are nothing more than a treacherous scumbag.

@MarkA It's not the EU's fault, infact they kept giving us chance's to sort our shit out.. It's OUR own government. From day one they should of put aside their difference's and worked together instead of playing internal politics for the last 2 years.

@Uncfred Yes they do gain from us staying and so did we. We were a big player.

If we go and make it a success, who else will follow? They can't afford to take that risk or their while cosy little club might fall apart.
My parent's generation were asked to vote on a Common Market trading partnership, NOT entry into the European Superstate that it has become, which dictates to Great Britain what it can and can't do as a sovereign nation. That is not right.

@sdfdgsfasfdgsfasdasfsdgds I agree, the politicians have acted appallingly, as I originally said. But Europe has become dictatorial and no longer serves OUR best interests. Europe has become a bully, same as the USA.
@MarkA I'm not disputing wether we should leave or stay. That's decided regardless of my own beliefs.

However, the Brexit shambles is not something that EU can be blamed for (I know we love to paint them as the big bad bully in this country). Our Government is responsible for the failings there. We have had PLENTY of time and opportunity yet the internal bickering and personal power moves within our government over the last two years has been a embarrassment and cost us a chance of atleast having a semi decent exit.

And now opportunists like farage get to be in the spotlight again. We did this to ourselves.

Yes, in many ways we did. It's embarrassing and no politician comes out of this with much credit. The PM did the best she could under the circumstances. Respect to her for sticking it out so long. There could be a very serious power vacuum ahead and that can only mean trouble and potential for populist opportunists like Farage to rise to power. What a dreadful day that would be....

@MarkA are you sure they're desperate? The EU politicians might be, but people in those countries are just like "wow what's with the far-right surge in Britain?... fine have your "independence" you freaking weirdos"

Very few of the European members are nett contributors. If one of those leaves there must be a shortfall somewhere which will need making up.....somewhere. I'd say there was some desperation involved!
