I'm Just Saying

What a farce, BREXIT Brexit Brexit. We are in a right pickle with the two main parties losing out in the EU Elections. Where do we go from here if no one party can take us forward.
Farage looms big as Boris fades with the conservatives, good God cant we get things right, instead of leaving ourselves open to collapse.

Trouble is, there are 27 other countries who desperately don't want us to leave. They were never going to o make it easy or smooth. Plus, there are too many politicians of all parties in this country who see it as an opportunity for political advantage and self-advancement instead of what's best for our wonderful country. Treasonous bastards.
Anyone can say, from the safety of their own little offices, that.... 'i would have done it better', but the truth is, and I'm looking at you My Corbyn, you simply wouldn't and simply couldn't. You would have sold our country and our ideals to the highest bidder and made everything far, far worse because you are nothing more than a treacherous scumbag.

@MarkA are you sure they're desperate? The EU politicians might be, but people in those countries are just like "wow what's with the far-right surge in Britain?... fine have your "independence" you freaking weirdos"

Very few of the European members are nett contributors. If one of those leaves there must be a shortfall somewhere which will need making up.....somewhere. I'd say there was some desperation involved!

@MarkA Noted!!

Seems country split 50. 50 remain or leave , so years of misery .
TheConstantGardener · 56-60, M
@devonman Don't say that too loudly here, you'll unleash a shower of 💩
Uncfred · 61-69, M
@devonman What will a second referendum bring us? More costs, another split in the country, no progress? I would welcome a referendum that would have a positive result, but no one could guarantee that..
devonman · 61-69, M
I’m not in favour , the result of the Euro elections just make it more likely . @Uncfred

I'd like to think sometimes you have to sink low in order to find a level and then rise once you have equilibrium.
But the longer this state continues all I see is atrophy and stagnation

Seems to me that we've got nowhere fast. In fact, we've probably gone backwards.

Deadlock persists. 😕

it will all be over with soon, and we will be free

I voted remain but I wish the whole thing was just over now - I’ve lost interest in it completely - lets either call it off, or roll over and accept the deal
Uncfred · 61-69, M
The latest!! Boris is looming big, and somehow I think he can do it in his unique way. Whatever happens we are near the end of the long road to freedom.
kutee · T
boris will win leadership battle, then uk will leave eu with no deal, and be free like we were 50 years ago,m and centuries before that
Uncfred · 61-69, M
We have spent over £90m and got nowhere. Now someone else is going to mess it up for us, who will it be?
