Such a simple thing. Tea bags are great to store. Dehydrated,some are individually sealed for great shelf life and it flavors the water as you purify!

Your posting this made me smile and took me back 50 years when you mentioned using tea bags to flavor the water one purifies because as a grunt in Vietnam we used 2 iodine tablets per quart of river or stream water to purify it then added a package of different flavored Koolaid folks sent from back home to help kill the iodine taste in our drinking water.

@MessieNessie nothing wrong with making water tase good. I prefer the boiling method to chemicals

@MessieNessie one of the ways ppl purify water is with bleach or purification tablets. I find boiling the water works best, tea, or coffee grounds help.
