I Do Not Have Supportive Parents

My dad hasn't spoken to me in 5 years. I write him, call him, and text him, but he never responds. I know he's not dead- my brother visits him regularly.

My mom communicates with me but she's extremely narcissistic, so everything is about her. She calls me to brag about whatever good things are happening in her life. She makes hurtful comments about me and my situation all the time. Loves to rub in the fact that I'm not happy and I'm stuck here.

I wish I would have had better parents. I think my life could have turned out so differently.
