I Love Trucking

What’s a good trucking company to work for? Class A automatic only endorsement (yeah yeah whatever to the manual drivers who say I’m not a real trucker 😒..I drove both before but I had to test on automatics . automatics aren’t that bad in my opinion). Not hard finding a trucking job but it’s hard for me to find a good one that pays well and send you home on time. Don’t say Cr England.... never thought a company could assume someone quit while on hometime.

The good ones will require at least two years of experience provided your driving record isn't too horrendous. It's getting past those first two years that will get you a good company. Virtually none of the ones that will hire drivers right out of school are particularly good but they do train and they do pay, so there is something to be said for that.

@Bitabyss yeah I heard...sux. I expect lower than average pay but I don’t wanna get stuck with horrible fleet maanagers

@Cali01 That's luck of the draw but experience will allow you to write your own ticket. Do these five things: gain experience, deliver on time, don't damage the equipment or freight, be courteous to your customers, don't get into a shouting match with your dispatcher, and above all be safe!
No idea where you are. I've fone with a local construction company after to many years on the road. Tried big companies twice in my life and hated it. I'd always recomend the smaller companies that are in your neighborhood

ABF freight. But you need manual transmission. Union job. Best trucking co on the planet.

@SubstantialKick I heard they were a team only. I don’t do teams.

@Stereoguy I rarely see amazon prime truckers. I tried looking them up online but I’m having a hard time finding the class a license type jobs.
