I Am Not a Bad Person

I was having dinner with an old friend last night and he told me he still hasn't forgiven me for the joke I played on him on his bachelor party night 20 yrs ago.

As in the famous 'Hangover' party a lot of alcohol was drunk, especially by the soon to be groom, and at some point he passed out.

I was the one who had to carry him to bed and tuck him in, and while doing so noticed some condoms had fallen out of his pocket. So feeling a bit mischievous, I created a used one (which I have to say took some doing) and inserted it into his rear end, put out the light and left him to sleep..

He came down to breakfast the next morning looking a bit sheepish, and I asked him what was wrong.. I also asked him where he went disappeared to the previous night, holding hands with the guy he was chatting to at the bar.. He's always been a bit of a homophobic, and changed color at that point. He got a bit defensive and was quite rude to me...

So the thing is, as he was being a bit stroppy, I didn't tell him the truth until a week or so later.. (I actually forgot about it)

Does that make me a bad person. ?

I think it was so offensive because of some personal feelings he happens to hold. He might even be gay and be struggling with it, or he might just be prejudiced.
It was a bit far. I mean, I've only touched butt holes of girls who are very much aware of the current situation. The list is still quite short, the butt isn't my bag.
