@Harriet03 I was a hobo for a time. Hobos pay in a share of the booze if you make the run, or bum the money! We used to have circles. Everyone in the circle would go out and panhandle, and we would return and put our change in the center of the circle and someone would make the run. Seeing someone nearly killed in Berkley for accidentally breaking a bottle kind of encouraged me to find another gig.
