I Have Tinnitus

[media=https://youtu.be/SoJF2wBISP0]

What the world sounds like when I'm trying to sleep (not that loud though, turn it down to low volume for maximum realism).
THAT Is so bloody annoying!

I had it in my left ear and it's like a flock of ANNOYED birds chirping.
OMG grrrr...
I went into the kitchen and though WHAT Is in there (my left ear is facing the kitchen, so to speak) that is making THIS Sound? NOTHING.

It's from the bad foods consumed over the last two days, they aggravate the inner ear nerves and set off the tinnitus.
Sometimes It's like a telephone ringing. The old style. (ROFL)

For me, it started when I was 13.
Only when I got rid of most gluten and a lot of sugars, did it go away.

Yesterday I FKD up pretty good
and as a consequence, I had wicked Fibromyalgia pain.
For me, this is ALL related.

Hugs, Luna 🤗🌹

I have mild tinnitus too. Too many loud concerts back in the day.

@NigelDoes I didn't even go to many concerts 😭

I'm sorry that you suffer with this. It sounds a lot more debilitating than what I go through.

I have it as well, and the volume surges with my pulse, day and night....worse when quiet. Too much gunfire and heavy machinery noise in my lifetime. They say the noise is created by the brain to replace the range of hearing that you have lost. Nature abhors a vacuum.
@bowman81 THAT Is an interesting perspective.

The army taught me how valuable my hearing is, so I've always been careful. I was the only person in my neighborhood to wear ear plugs when mowing the lawn. I still have some good hearing in the high range, but most of the low range is gone. They don't make a hearing aid for that.

Oh, shit, that was too loud! Damn.

I have tinnitus and that tone really fucked with my ears. I should not have clicked on it.

I just scrolled down and realized I had already answered this! Weird!

It can be quite annoying, and I wish there was a cure.

@SW-User The same goes for me, the high pitched is quite annoying. I can tune it out as well, but it seems to be harder to tune out in a quiet room. I think we need more distractions so as not to dwell on it. How did you get yours? I got mine from loud music in headphones, and being around jets in my 20's.
SW-User
@minarth008 actually I think it came from aspirin toxicity from trying to control my migraines for years; I did listen to music pretty loudly when I was young but not more than any other teenager.

I like to have background noise that drowns it out to some extent, in a completely silent room it's just deafening.

@SW-User Wow.. that sucks, sorry to hear that, migraines do suck. I listened to music for hours on end, and quite loud too, either with headphones or in a car. So I know that is where most of mine came from. I also worked around F-16's for several years, ad those are quite loud as well.

I agree white noise is very important, or the ringing will just take control. I see all these scams that say they will cure it, but if I go to legit sites, they say there is no cure. Who knows, maybe someday.

I have it, too. Some fireworks went off near my head when I was a teen.
Mine's subtle, but I believe I have it as well.

@SW-User lol i'm just being silly xD I don't care about age 😳🤗
Omg me too - because of the meds?
It's why I sleep with a fan on
SW-User
@InOtterWords I think it was years of taking huge amounts of aspirin for migraines, because I'm otherwise quite careful with my ears.

I like to have a bit of noise too, otherwise that's all I'm hearing. There are other tones as well, quieter ones that I can hear in an otherwise silent room.
