There is a lot to be said for forcing yourself to take care of yourself:

1. Your diet, and self-care (exercise, hygiene, dental care).

2. Forcing yourself to talk to one friend or acquaintance and one stranger (like someone in a supermarket line or walking in a park) every day.

3. Reading or listening to audio books that help you feel more positive.

4. I find growing things in a garden helpful. If you don't access to a patch of dirt, then try growing something in a pot.

5. Seeing medical professionals, like a psychiatrist, if you need to. Sometimes medication, even just something temporary, can really help.

I have been miserable. I am currently recovering from panic attacks and a chronic painful illness. I hope you can find a way to feel better soon. Don't give up. Get some fresh air and exercise every day and hang in there.馃挆

Notice the small things. Things nothing to do with you. Being in nature helps me a lot. In nature you see life untouched by you and it's miracle. I try to look at myself that way too.
Medication and therapy and education and lots of reading.

The best advise to remember is that NOTHING we are dealt in life defines us or determines our value or worth. Sometimes we have to hit rock bottom so that we have no choice but to stand up and fight. When we are out of excuses, we become frustrated that the only thing left is to stand up and fight. Life IS worth living and you have gifts and talents and abilities that will help you continue. You must have family or friends that can stand with you and hold you accountable and keep you focused. If you would like to talk or vent or ask questions, pm me anytime

Therapy is the best thing you can do to start. Things do get better with time. You have to accept yourself and your faults (which we all have) and take each day one at a time. Small steps lead to a long journey.

The hotlines will make you feel ashamed so please try to avoid calling.

Love kittens, singing birds, little kids...

Volunteer at the shelter or hang out at the playground and talk to the children.

Cherish INNOCENCE.

Hope that helps some.
