People can make up any poem they like in praise of God.. it is good for people to express themselves and speak their own words.. I have no problem with that.. But when they slap a scripture verse onto it giving the false impression that they are quoting scripture then i do have a problem with it and i will stand up for the purity of scripture and give warning of the curse that is contained in the Bible as a warning to those who do this kind of thing... They can deal with the warning as they deem fit.. and sunnyflower has delt with it with pride not repentance.. So be it, I have done my duty. I have given a warning..

Sunnflower made it clear immediately that her poem was based on the Psalm and not a quote.

It is not possible in EP to edit a post otherwise I am sure the small print error would have been rectified.

You are cruel and uncaring in quoting threatening verses outside the verses of the Psalm the poem was linked to.

Instead of persecuting a young women why don't you deal with the men from Christian Domestic Discipline. Sunnflower cause to be grateful for her guardian angel helping her escape from a sect based on misuse of texts from the Bible.

My Rainbow Jesus would have supported Sunnflower's understanding of the meaning of compassion and care in real life in comparison with your theoretical cruelty.

Voltaire covered this with great thought in "Candide" but you may not be a reader of French classical literature.

My religious consultant advises me that this is not Psalm 91:11-12 but a poem based on the concept of guardian angels set out in that Psalm

Agree - the more understanding of beauty we can share between different religions and those who are not religious the better we can work together to create a better world.
