I Believe In God

a Guardian Angel -

Dear angel ever at my side,
How lovely you must be---
To leave your home in heaven,
And guard a child like me.
When I'm far away from home,
Or maybe hard at play---
I know you will protect me,
From harm along the way.
Your beautiful and shining face,
I see not, though you are near.
The sweetness of your lovely voice,
I really cannot hear.
When I pray, your praying too.
Your prayer is just for me.
But, when I sleep, you never do.
Your watching over me.

My religious consultant advises me that this is not Psalm 91:11-12 but a poem based on the concept of guardian angels set out in that Psalm

Did I mention that psychological profiling suggested that I should complete training to wear a dog collar - hence checking the facts :)
Seems to me a might end up giving the collar to someone else rather than wearing it myself :)
