I Believe In God

I believe in God. I believe in the Bible and what it says. I struggle to be holy. I struggle to be righteous. I don't like to fail God. I am weak and weak and weak and not stupid but stuck in the ways of the world. I want to seek God with the same passion that I seek to have the new iPhone or a new gun. I don't. I don't know how to want God like that because I am stupid I guess. I am stuck in the world. I believe in God. I do NOT believe suicide means Hell. That was not always the church stance in the matter, it is only since St. Augustine that the church casts down the suicide as a sinner. Before that (historical FACTS) SUICIDES were martyred in applicable circumstances. So the church didn't always take that stance - also I am a man and no man can take away what God has given me and He has given me salvation through Jesus Christ. Anyway, enough of/ that. I believe in God. If anyone knows how I can seek God with the same doggedness that I seek the pleasures of this world I would really like to know.

Do you believe in the birth, the death, and the resurrection of Jesus? Do you believe that salvation is key? Nothing is too shameful, too dirty, too disgusting for Jesus. He loves you with all of your failures....call on him in your quiet moments. He will help you and carry you through this darkness of a world. He will.
I have been feeling the same as you. I have been listening to worship music over the last few days....just filling my mind with the music and the words.
The first part of this song represents God speaking to us....when the woman sings it represents us speaking to God.
Have a Listen....give all of your worries and cares to Jesus at this time. He loves you. 💕

just believing in God himself/herself is enough, as long as you try following the virtues, as in Patience, Love ect... and just if you can pray when you can. that is my thought

Not necessarily. Believing really isn’t enough. Satan believes in God, but doesn’t worship him. Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins. He gives us the free gift of salvation if we want it. It’s our choice. Salvation is more than just believing....it’s putting our faith, our trust in him every single day. It’s a relationship with him through prayer and Jesus wants that personal relationship with us so he can get us through this life. @IAMMONARAHIMI

I don’t think he expects us to be perfect. In fact I don’t think we can be. But as long as you have faith, actively seek him, and put him first place. We should be where we need to be 🙂
