When I was at junior school I was made to stand in the corner with my hands on my head. I was not allowed to move at break time and my arms were aching. Worst ting was that I needed the toilet. The teacher would not let me talk and said I would have to wait. I ended up messing myself and was taken to the staff toilets. I was punished by having the cane adcriss by bottom. I was 11. This was in the 1960’s if this happened now there would be an outcry.

@Arthur2075 @Arthur2075 And the current outcry would be justified. Those officials were mean to you. It being a different time does not justify gratuitous cruelty.

I don't know about that. Standing there with you're undies at your knees i found embarrassing
