I Want to Know What Kind of Music You Would Set Your Life to

I will probably appoint someone to play this at my funeral one day as it closely mirrors the way I think and feel. For me, the things I've seen, the countries traveled, the things I've experienced, those little passions of joy and disappointment have all gone in to that cauldron that has been my life I suppose.
I'm a great observer of life.....and I have savored all of it, sometimes unknowingly, and in those moments (thankfully) one of the faerie muses appears to whisper in my ear that I need to play back a certain part of my life tape lest I miss a significance. It usually happens after the fact when I'm doing some boring, mundane thing.
I ramble here of course, but I see life, I suppose, as if sitting somewhere in the background during the photograph of Doisneau's Kiss....present for the event, yet somewhere slightly to the rear. It's served me well because there will always be people, places, and things I remember...."all my life." 😎

80s music, for sure. A lot of new wave/alternative/punk. A little metal. Rock from the 60s to the 2010s. One or two classical pieces, in memory of my mother.
