Haha! Funny you should say that as I remember bringing that up after having a lengthy discussion about reality and religion with my boss, I finished the conversation with, 'who knows everything may just be a computer program we're in.' To which he only answered, 'yes but it isn't.' I know we didn't really have time to go into it but that seemed a cop out.

Not really... it is possible. But there is just too much "low level" stages in our evolution that would not make with a simulation. And in general, it is a notion like God, impossible to prove/disprove, thus not a theory.
