I Like Philosophy
Ive read a fair amount, and I suppose the easiest for me to understand were the Stoics, like Marcus Aurelius, among others.
Modern philosophy seems to be inverted, looking at the minutae of it's expression, instead of giving an alternative way of thinking or comprehending.
Yes, I liked reading Nietzsche but there was quite a bit missing too I felt in expression. It seemed to me he didn't say everything he wanted to, or his sister, who published his work held something back...
