How do you sign off your letters?

I just saw a letter that said “Very Truly Yours”...that belongs to a US Attorney.
That’s icky.
It seems more like how you would sign off on a love letter...😂

I use “Kind Regards” or “Kindest Regards”. I remind people to speak nicely of me 😊

@Annii Oh, you didn’t specify that

In which case, if the letter is headed with the addressee’s actual name (ie Mr Smith) the proper sign off would be ‘Yours sincerely’

If the letter is simply headed Dear Sir/Madam, etc then the correct sign off would be ‘Yours faithfully’
