I Always Put Myself Down

Nah, just a failsafe for myself.

Having to keep yourself in check and being vigilant against yourself can be tiring. Perhaps there is a better way?

Have people been irrevocably harmed by your actions?

@Halcyon: Harmed or troubled by my actions far too often. Again, not intentionally but I think that shows that I need to hold myself back, if you will, so I don't hurt people more.

"irrevocably harmed" have you hurt people in unconscionable ways that will affect them for the rest of their lives? I don;t know you and maybe you have but the answer to that question overwhelmingly is going to be no. If that is the case with you then maybe you are being way to hard on yourself. There is nothing wrong with self-assessment and fixing yourself but I'm feeling self-hatred or at least a real dislike for your actions. Perhaps you could find a better way to funnel that energy rather than bottling it up or trying to hold it down.

@Halcyon: Not in unconscionable ways, no. But I don't think I'm too hard on myself. However, you are right that I do hate myself.

I honestly feel that short of the markers I've already stated that no-one should hate themselves. Come to terms with your mistakes, forgive yourself and move on. Living in memories is a waste of time and potential imho. Find someone to talk to if you need that.
