I Am a Black Woman

The only thing I find concerning about interracial dating is, what is the intent of the man who wants to date me. Is he doing it for love? A fetish? Or experimentation? just to understand what it's like to date a black girl. I understand that there are non black men who date black women for love. But there are enough of them who don't.

I met my boyfriend's in school I highly doubt they're dating me for some weird fetish. Friendships turn into dating sometimes.

Absolutely agree. My first girlfriend was back, we were both 13 and friends, and I dated and lived another after college, we had the same friends but we’re going with other people. She moved to the east coast I stayed on the west.@Aidan

The way you carry yourself here, I would think that you'd attract a genuine person for the right reasons. You seem educated, open minded, and not angry like some. There may be some cultural differences but I think adults can handle those things just fine. Good luck!
