I Take Effexor

Today is my third day on effexor. Last night, I started feeling so energized and I was cleaning every room. Today, this lovely feeling has continued. I have cleaned and done laundry all with this goofy smile on my face. It's nice. My husband says the first 3 days are good. Then he read that the next two weeks May be rough. Fingers crossed it won't be too bad...

That might be a placebo effect, it doesn't work that quickly.

And that's what I said in my post. The first 3 days are good then the next two weeks apparently all the bad side effects start (even tho I have had nausea and loss of appetite and weird dreams) but the meds won't help with depression or anxiety until 4-6 weeks in

@NeedingSupport: 4-6 weeks? that's a long time. Most antidepressants that I know of take about two weeks to start working

The pharmacist said 4 weeks and my husband has seen up to 6 weeks I think. I sure hope it's 2 weeks tho...
