I Take Effexor

Today is my third day on effexor. Last night, I started feeling so energized and I was cleaning every room. Today, this lovely feeling has continued. I have cleaned and done laundry all with this goofy smile on my face. It's nice. My husband says the first 3 days are good. Then he read that the next two weeks May be rough. Fingers crossed it won't be too bad...

eat properly and stay hydrated.

maybe it's time to keep a food diary also... jot down things that don't agree with you because now you're on medication.

(believe me it helps.)

That might be a placebo effect, it doesn't work that quickly.

@NeedingSupport: 4-6 weeks? that's a long time. Most antidepressants that I know of take about two weeks to start working

The pharmacist said 4 weeks and my husband has seen up to 6 weeks I think. I sure hope it's 2 weeks tho...
