I Am Looking For a New Job

It's funny how we are told to apply, then call the job and ask for an interview. Yet when you do call and ask, they say "if, they are interested, they will call you"...

@smileylovesgaming Right. One play is giving me the run around. Said they want to offer me the job but that I had to do background check and drug test and TB test. I did all the above and called them twice, left message, and sent an email. It's been a week and no word back. I'm continuing to apply

@iamnikki Drug and background checks cost money... money they wouldn't spend if they weren't interested in hiring you. Is there someone you can go talk to in person for a progress update?

@AcidBurn The same person that I interviewed with, called twice, left a message with and sent an email...I don't want to go above this person and contact HR

@iamnikki HR is probably who you should be contacting. Usually the interviewer passes you off to HR if they're going to hire you.
