Did your parents ever complain to the school when you got the cane or did they never find out. How would they react if they knew you were caned at school

They would never complain as they believed entirely that if I had the cane it was because I deserved it. They didn't beat me a second time, but I heard about for far too long after the event - so much for swift and 'over with'. LOL
