I Want a Boyfriend

I’d love to have a Scandinavian boyfriend. The accent is sexy, and they seem to be in touch with a deeper part of themselves. Fat chance, I’d ever have a boyfriend again, let alone a Scandinavian one, but I can dream. *Sigh* 💑

Although I’m attached, I think I’d like that, too. Maybe in another life.

I know a woman who married a Finnish man who’s ten years younger than she is, and now she lives in Finland and is working towards citizenship.

I understand this. I think my personality is not compatible with most American or English men. I fit better with Scots, Indian, and maybe Latino men. Men who are more in harmony with their inner life, and speak from the heart. @SmartKat

@Carissimi I think the Nordic countries or Germany might work for me. People there are reputed to be more quiet, cautious, and reserved than people in the U.S. And Germans at least have a reputation for getting right to the point. The lack of getting right to the point, without a lot of preliminary b.s., is one thing that particularly drives me crazy about my own countrypeople.

I’ve noticed this too with Nordic men. Germans are extremely direct. Maybe too much, but at least you know where you stand with them. @SmartKat
I can understand that, I hope you get what you wish for.

I just want a girlfriend.. Preferably French as it is the sexiest language for women! It would be nice to share a flat with her in the 4th or 7th arrondissement. While I love provincial products I'm not sure I could live there.
Besides, I need a French teacher!

Have you been to France @Elandra77?
@Carissimi No. And I never will get there.

But I have 30-40 books about the country and the city.. Namely beauty, fashion and style books. History and travelogues as well.

After all if I ever get to Spree or Galeries Lafayette I at least want to be in style--even if I am not an "it" girl!

Now where did put Ines de la Fressange's phone number..Ah--here it is..

"Hi Ines, It's Alexis...."

Treat yourself with a trip@Elandra77. Although I hear that France is not the France we once knew. I passed through Paris a long time ago, on the way to the south, with a trip to Monte Carlo. It’s overrated, at least I think so as tourist class. 😊

One never knows, strange things happen in life.
Carissimi · 70-79, F
True, and it would be strange. 😊@SageWanderer

@Carissimi As I mentioned elsewhere the other day; I never say never.
Carissimi · 70-79, F
You said it twice now. Lol I won’t say it. @SageWanderer

Never give up hope
Carissimi · 70-79, F
Hope left the building a long time ago. I’m just daydreaming. 😉@Noble

Keep dreaming.. I believe in the Laws of Attraction..

@polyandrym66 They didn’t do much for me over the last 30-years.

He’s handsome, but way too young for me. He doesn’t have to be classically handsome, just a good guy, who is compatible with me. @GJOFJ3

@Carissimi okay
AmericanaChick · 22-25, F
Why wouldn't you ever have a bf again?
Carissimi · 70-79, F
Several reasons. I’m too old for one, but that’s the least of it. I was just daydreaming. @AmericanaChick
