I had about 50 pair ,then my Daughter bought me a very nice pair of boots I gave my shoes away to my son ,grandson ,son in laws anyone who would take them I don't have foot issues and I hate throwing expensive clothing and shoes away
Now my boots are my work shoes ,they are waxed well ..so a quick buff and they are fit for a wedding
They are about 5 yrs old now and I still get a lot of compliments on my boots
Strangers will just out of the blue say "I really like you're boots so they didn't have to speak to me at all ,,so I am guessing they really do like my boots
Cargo pants ,jeans or shorts ,,my boots are pretty cool .and the fact that my daughter knew I would never spend that much money on myself ,so she did makes them that much more special
My ex ,my daughters ,my son ,grandsons ,granddaughters ,they all love boots They all want to be like me ,,I take that as high praise my grandson is hat and boots crazy ,,if Papaw wore it ,,he had to have the same thing ,he has several really nice hats ,,but lots of boots But ya have to admit he's pretty sharp
Most of my life I had around three pairs, but now I have about 30, I've been going into shoe shops and trying shoes on, if they are really comfortable I buy them....
@SW-User Oh yeah, I totally get her....it's one of the reasons I wear heels as much as I can. I had to give up wearing heels for many yrs due to back injury.
